MDM（メドゥサン・デュ・モンド）世界の医療団

(最近では所属の赤羽医師が解放された）の支援者

の集いがフランス大使館でありました。

当日はタテルノヨシノやオテル･ドゥ･ミクニ他、関東

の有名レストランやホテルのシェフ21人のお料理が

提供され、素敵な音楽と共にMDMの活動や赤羽医師の

お話を伺い楽しく有意義な一時を過ごしました。

ヴィクトリアンボックスからは真珠のネックレス

をご提供。ゲストの滝川クリステルさんとMCの

フランソワーズ・モレシャンさんにご紹介された

ネックレスは9.5mm〜10mmのアコヤ真珠です。


ほんの少しの事ですが、危険な地域で活動される

世界の医療団の活動にお役に立てたことを嬉しく

思います。

また今回のパーティーで久しぶりに沢山の友人に

思いがけなく偶然会う事が出来て、なんだかとても

素敵なプレゼントを頂いたような気持ちで美味しい

シャンパンとお料理やデザートでお腹も心も一杯に

なって家路につきました。


An evening in honor of the benefactors of MDM (Medecins du Monde)
Doctors of the World (recently in the news thanks to MDM volunteer
Dr. Akahane`s release) was held at the French Ambassador’s residence.

The food on offer at the event was from such celebrity names as
Tateruno Yoshino and the H’otel du Mikuni, numbering 21 chefs
in total from various famous hotels and restaurants.
We were treated to an elegant evening oflovely classical music,
as well as talks detailing the many initiatives of MDM with a
presentation given by Dr. Akahane.

Victorian Box was able to donate a pearl necklace to the special event.

The necklace, introduced to the guests by Francoise Maurishaine and
special guest, anchorwoman Crytal Takigawa, was a 9.5mm~10mm Akoya Pearl.

While it was only a small gesture, I was happy to be able to make
a small contribution to this important NGO that does such important
work in some of the most dangerous places in the world.

It was also great to run into a number of old friends that I hadn`t
seen in a while. Between the elegant atmosphere, delicious champagne,
dinner and desert, I drifted home with a full stomach and a happy heart.
